Activity at the Dismal Swamp fire, VA / NC line with NC Forestry involved:

122.925 Helicopter coordination, heli base suspected
122.900 May not have been fire related
169.200 [csq] NIRSC Air tac-3
168.075 [csq] Sounded tactical, specific use not determined
168.200 [csq] NIRSC Tac-2 fire ground
169.7875 [100.0] NIRSC Command
159.360 [131.8] North Carolina Div of Forestry
151.445 [131.8] North Carolina Div of Forestry
172.275 [131.8] North Carolina Div of Forestry suspected
172.675 [P-25 064] U S Fish and Wildlife

Someone was directed to go to D-13 TAC-2, could not determine the freq. Anyone have a link to an updated NC DOF frequency/channel plan. The most recent I have is dated 2005, it has no reference
Tac-2 in District 13. There were a couple of large track vehicles coming in. Like those used in Dare County at Alligator River NWR and the bombing range.

Threre were three odd looking helicopters at the Heli Base on Suffolk airport property. One of the three was N699RH a K-1200 aeral crane and utility heli with two rotors above the cabin and no tail rotor. I never saw it power up but suspect one rotor turns in an opposite direction of the other.

172.2750 131.8 PL is NCFS Air to Ground 2 I believe, licensed to the state under WPGM564.

171.5750 131.8 PL was in use at the Judes Gap fire in WNC several months ago and a communications plan showed this as the Air to Ground channel to be used.

Normally we frown on cross posting here at RR.com but I will let this one stand for now....there is already a thread on this exact topic in the VA forum....In the future let's try to keep the discussion contained to one forum....thanks! :)
