Wilmington Police Department did one around 9:45 last night, and gave away all of Santa's aliases (Kris Kringle, Father Christmas, St. Nick)

Heard one down in Transylvania County, they were thinking about citing Santa for illegal parking on rooftops but they let him go.

Mt. Olive PD used to do it all night long on Christmas Eve. Each announcement was about 30 minutes about, and the same dispatcher always worked that night, every year for at least 10 years. On each announcement, he would change the last known location of Santa. It was rather nice.

This was back when Mt. Olive PD had their own dispatcher, and dispatched for Mt. Olive Fire, Mt. Olive Rescue, Calypso Fire, Oak Wolfe Fire and Pleasant Grove Fire.

That dispatcher, was Tommy King, a great guy to know!!
