Multiple scanner voice recording

I suppose setting up one scanner to record on my PC is pretty simple. But how do it do that for multiple scanners? Each scanner is USB or serial cable connected to the same Windows based PC. I can use Proscan to simultaneously display each scanner on the PC monitor.

I have read many posts on RR.com but remain a bit confused about how it is done and what equipment is needed. Are any of you in the NC Discussion Forum set up to record from multiple scanners? If so, can you please describe how you do it?

Yes - as do Whistlers (starting with the GRE PSR-800 - 2011?) --- they have for many years.

Uniden has a "global" record function (it records nothing or everything).

Whistler has a "per object" (channel, talkgroup etc.) option...
