Radio Shack pro 106 programming

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was anyone around that would help me program the pro 106 for the Fayetteville and moore county area. The radio shacks have closed. I have several scanners, 2 active kids, and I'm not sure that I would like to take the time to learn a new programming software and buy the software and cables. Is there anyone that is willing to program the scanner for a fair price. Thanks.

I used the ARC 500 Software by BuTel to program my 106 before it died years ago. Too bad you live so far away or I would do it for fun. Maybe you can find someone up your way with the ARC 500 software that can help you. Doing it manually would not be fun anymore.

I remember having to update 106 firmware for the rebanding that happened some years back. If you didn't do it, I believe it's still available on the RR Website.

ive always used win500 if you have the software and the cable i could build you a file
