Giant Talk Group ID updates in NC in the past year?

I programmed a 396xt for a family member 4 or 5 years ago with FreeScan.

He told me recently that he is not picking up anything anymore.
I am wondering if there was a large reORG of the TGIDs in NC.

I opened up the file that I used for his scanner and compared to the RR DB.
It looks like they changed all of the counties I programmed in the past.

When did this happen?

Several years ago Viper was updated from a Motorola Type II system to a APCO P25 Phase I system. When this happened, the talkgroup ranges for each county, SHP, etc changed.That is most likely the difference. Make sure you change the system from Type II to P25 in Frescan, check the tower you monitor to make sure the control channels haven't changed and add the talkgroups your family member wants to hear.

I dont recall any tgid changes when we rebanded but they definitely changed when the type ii system was changed to p25.
