Yes, those 100 mW transmitters have lots of interesting uses such as piping your favorite music remotely to your AM radio.

TalkingHouse transmitters were used by real estate agents to inform folks driving by a house for sale by tuning to a particular AM frequency.

There's also the TalkingSign transmitter, again 100mW, commercially-made. We used one to provide info to the public when doing practice drills for PODs.

They're fun and fully legal, as long as you keep the antenna length as per FCC regs.
