I have heard rumblings that they are building new radio sites.
Does anyone know about this? The guys I talked to knew about MARCS, but said that the system would be independent of MARCS (but could patch if they needed to). I know the SO has been talking a lot about it (they use a conventional system with repeater now) and are excited, but will the system include other agencies?
I have heard mixed things about whether or not it will be 800MHz or not and whether not it will be a system utilizing APCO Common Air Interface.
So I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on the situation.
