Which marcs towers and frequencies are closest to bowling green (Wood) county. Will be traveling there and would like to know which to program in scanner, also active tg's would be helpful. scannedweeb.
Put in at least all the control channel frequencies from the Toledo, Deshler, Neapolis towers, and maybe the Fremont tower.
As for talkgroups, at least include all of OSP District 1 and District 10. Also include Life Flight, Life Star, MedCorp and any other talkgroups explicitly listed for the NW Ohio area (SO, EMA, etc).
Wood County has a site on the BGSU radio station transmitter tower, but in the city itself, another tower comes in better but for the life of me I can't recall what it was. You should also be able to receive the Toledo tower.
I really don't see why they call BGSU the 'Deshler' tower. It is located on Road Y and 2 in Putnam County. It is closer to Belmore then Deshler, which is Henry County. BGSU owns quite a bit of property in the Belmore area, and from what I am told, they almost built their University in Belmore.
This might give you some additional ideas in regards to which talkgroups to include. This extract was from earlier last year, so while MedCorp is active now, they're not represented in this listing.
