Noaa Real Person???

I switched over to noaa all hazard radio today 162.475 and this morning it was a person recorded talking on there! Not the good old computer voices! Wondering if anybody else noticed this or has some idea whats going on?

I hear humans occasionally but I haven't paid enough attention to notice if there's a pattern to it. Was there anything outstanding about the weather in your area yesterday (warnings, watches, etc.)?

I know why they use computers to read the info but I don't like the way they still mangle some words. They need more fine tuning.

The last time I heard a real person, it was just a person reading the same thing a computer would. There wasn't anything unusual about the weather that day, either. Could it be that they sometimes have to take the computers down for maintenance?

Probably more likely that the computer broke for a period of time.

Every once in a while they give us Perfect Paul again, too. Not sure what that's about.

Sometimes they have the college interns get on there and read the forecasts...
