Ohio-Holmes County Sheriff MARCS

Hello everyone. I am running a Unication G5.
I live in Wayne county which has several MARCS towers.
My problem is this...
I am trying to monitor Holmes County sheriff.
Some parts of the day their traffic comes in loud and clear, then won’t hear anything the rest of the day.
Is it possible it is something on their end? Or could it be a programming error that I only hear them on occasion.
Any help or guidance is appreciated.

You realize that the towers you have in the scanner for Wayne county might not affiliate with Holmes county? Could it be that the sheriff is using the DMR system listed in the RR database? Just a couple of thoughts.

They may only affiliate at certain times if close enough.

In the P25 Trunking System Settings make a new system for each of the towers your able to get.

Put them all in the same zone but under different knob spots. That way you can switch towers and possibly hear them quickly.

But I would think the Millersburg tower would get everything.
