Could someone explain to me why Summit P25 lists some of the same talkgroups as Summit 800? Example P25 says Akron Police TG DISP 1 and Summit 800 lists Akron Police TG DISP 1. Are they the same channel? Do I need them both programmed in? I am not understanding why alot of the same channels are on both systems and are they the same? I am new to this type of scanning and I thought I had it all figured out then BAM I lost Summit 800 completely yesterday at about 3pm.I thought the scanner broke. Someone on here directed me to the new control channel now it's working fine.
