Harrison County Frequency's.

Hello, can anyone tell me what band Harrison County Fire, EMS, and law enforcement are using now?. I know they were on VHF high band.

They are using the Ohio Marcs-IP system. Sometimes they (The ems-vfd's) still use the county east 155.415 and they do still use the 155.295 for fire paging but 99% of the time they are on Marcs-IP

What are the best sites to pick up Harrison County up on?. I programed the Cadiz and Scio site in and can't hear anything.

Looking at the coverage maps on the 3 site pages it appears none of them reach the river. I would say you are out of range.

You're best bet is to listen to the Belmont C.I. site if you can hear it cause it will have most of Harrison co. sheriff and most vfd's and some times cadiz pd

I use the Jefferson county Frequency's. Then I use Harrison county talk groups.

they use ohio marcs cause i live in cameron and im able to pick up harrison county sheriff and sometimes harrison county fire and ems and its coming from the bridgeport tower site up on kirkwood heights road
