I have found some discrepancies in the GCRCN frequencies listed on RR versus what’s on the FCC web site. The only reason I found this was because of issues receiving them on my TRX-2. For the longest time I thought it was ADC, DAC and DSP adjustments not being right. When I looked up the FCC I found the RR has 30 frequencies, but the FCC only shows 28. Also, some of the frequencies listed in RR when run through a search on the FCC web site don’t come back to the GCRCN, example: 851.900 and 852.150. Could you please verify the RR listings?

True, this subforun is about Ohio scanning, but this thread is specifically about MARCS. I would suggest putting your data in a new thread, so your corrections do not get lost in the shuffle.

The RadioReference database is based on real-world confirmation from users like you; the FCC database lists what an entity is licensed for, but may not necessarily be using. In other words, the FCC database doesn't always reflect reality.

A particular tower site or system may also be using frequencies licensed to various different agencies; this is especially true in situations where several agencies partnered with one another to install a new (or expand an existing) tower site or system, such as GCRCN.

If you confirm that there are changes such as new frequencies on a particular site or new control channels added, please submit them so the database can be updated.
