This time of the year "fore"casting is close to useless on getting specific... More of a "now"casting thing, where we can tell an environment might support sevwx, but until the day of - there's not much value in getting overly optimistic.

pj, they do this several times a year. its overkill! i just dont see a strong tornado with the conditions that are in place. I actually dont even see a small one being possible either.

I got called out to do some storm spotting last night. I saw some rain, and a lot of straight line winds, but no wall clouds, tornados, hail, or anything like that.
There was a lot of lightning with last nights event and it sparked several grass fires in the Beggs area. At one point I heard Mounds, Slick, Twin Hills, and Preston fire departments assisting Beggs with multiple grass fires in different areas at the same time.
