I was scanning the 800mhz band since moving back home and I noticed there is a P25 control channel 855.7875 that is not licensed. I am getting it at 100% here at 41st and 129th here in Tulsa. Can anyone run trunker on it? Does anyone know what or who it is? Thanks.

That WACN combined with a RFSS of 9 points toward a Harris system. AEP???

Likely so as the max decode I can get with Unitrunker is about 66 percent with full signal. (Like all the other Harris systems I've seen.)

It very well could be AEP. There are several expired licenses that have used that frequency in the past for EDACS systems use by AEP. AEP has been saying for at least 2 years now that they are in the process of upgrading their old EDACS systems to Opensky. I wonder if they got wise and decide to got to P25 instead? I'll be interested to see what trunker records.

What about this active AEP licence:

WPCB294 - American Electric Power - Leonard OK (Wagoner). No more than 15 miles away from the OP, and all three freqs are on the license.

Harris press release from May 2017 doesn't say AEP, but says one of US' largest utlities, 350 RF sites, multistate, over 10,000 users, migrate from analog to P25 Phase 2 within five years.

That's likely it. I'm about 5-6 miles as the bird flies from there.

Still no traffic or any peer sites showing up yet.

Good information fellows. It's most likely AEP going P25 Phase 2 on the Leonard site. We will see. Thanks for the insight.

Proscan has recorded a few tests on TG 10003 here in the Oklahoma site. Still not showing any neighbor sites.
