Looked in the database etc, can't find anything. Anyone know what the current PAC power frequencies are here in Corvallis Albany area, had a power outage last night would have been good to be able to monitor.
Thanks

Pacific Power

Pacific Power is in the process of switching over to an MPT-1327 trunk system. I am still trying to find all their channels because they are not listed on the FCC website for some reason. I have found some in the 151. to 153.7 and the 160 to 162 range. Do a search in these areas and see if you can hear the MPT1327 data channels and match up the ctcss tones numbers to what you might think are PP&L freq's. Good Luck!

Try using PacifiCorp as the ID Idon't think they use pacific power as a name in the FCC Database. I did find some after finding the corralation on the Wiki page.

So far the only one that is active is 153.560, I think, will have to try that search suggestion and see what I can figure out.
Thanks

No problem, try using it as the name the ID was mispoken, but under the name I did find a lot of entries in Oregon alone.

161.8750 165.5 PL is the PP&L MPT-1327 control channel for Albany. The transmitter is located on the tower next to the Linn County Sheriff building in Albany. I know this because whenever I'm in the downtown area, that transmitter causes some intermod problems on VHF public safety freqs.

Also, 161.8625 165.5 PL is in Cottage Grove. It also forces its way through on just about every ODF tac channel when I'm driving by on I-5.

Here's an update of what I've found:

Albany
161.8750 control channel
153.5625 voice

Cottage Grove
161.8625 control channel

Unknown, Heard from Albany...weak with attenuator turned on...could be Corvallis perhaps
161.8500 control channel
153.5125 voice

I recently moved to nearby Lincoln City, here I got a control frequency of 161.860 with Voice 153.4850 does the same apply? I posted recently and someone responded that P.P. is moving to a tetra system, possibly encrypted, any info?
Thanks

Threads merged. Please don't start a duplicate thread just to ask the same question.

Thanks.

Ok , so there is no further information about this, should I just assume that it's gone to Tetra and no longer can be monitored, does anyone know anything further?
