I've just installed DSD+ using a R820T RTL2832U Device (SDR)

I have SDR# Tuned to 454.000 and I'm hearing NXDN96 Trunk Voice and CC Data around this frequency.

I do not see any NXDN System for Oregon, I looked in Washington since I'm in Multnomah County, and did not see any near by system that would be using this.

Anyone else have a clue as to what system this is?

From the audio I've heard it sounds like a waste disposal service and some of the Call Entry's in DSD+ refer to Metro or TRK (Guessing Track?)
(Edit)
CC: 454.648 NID: 80 Site 7 RAN: 7
CC: 454.423 NID: 80 Site 8 RAN: 8

There are two other CC sites, but they are too weak to get the rest of the info
(End Edit)

Anyways figured I'd share and see if anyone had any input.

Happy Scanning!
Steven

I don't have any info on the frequencies you mentioned, but according to a recent thread here at RR, NXDN is now being used by Woodburn PD. That is the only Public Safety agency in our area using it to my knowledge. From Portland you have a good chance of receiving their radio traffic, depending on your exact location and antenna set up, etc.. They are on 155.13 MHz.

Good luck

Thanks for the response Sparklehorse,

This seems more like utilities such as Waste disposal, and or a towing company.

I will have to check out Woodburn, Thanks!

You can search FCC records by State/County/Frequency and many other ways here:
License Search - Geographic Search | fcc.gov

-and/or-

Here at RR - Click on 'Database' - go to a County's page,
then click on the FCC Licenses tab, then you can search
in Business licenses only, then click on 'Frequency'.
That will put all the freqs in a county in numerical order.

Thank you all for the response's I wasn't having much luck on the FCC Database, and it makes much more sense now that it is categorized by the vendor rather than by the customer.

I haven't been able to get a full list of frequencies as Unitrunker is not either recognizing them or seeing them.

Anyone else already submit this to the RR database and or have a list of frequencies or know how to get them?

I have R820T SDR, 996XT 436HP, and Pro197 as far as hardware goes. If anyone has any idea's on how to capture this system better please let me know.

Thanks and happy scanning!

Unitrunker doesn't support NXDN at this time

That makes much more sense, anyone know of any other software or method to logging this data?

I may be asking the wrong forum, but any pointing in the right direction would be appreciated.

DSD+ will decode trunk channel data but won't voice track (yet)

Many years ago I know Univesity of Oregon in Eugene was testing a UHF NXDN system, but that was in 2010 and I haven't talked to that engineer since about 2011.

Other than that, I do know that Silke Communications has a pretty substantial NXDN network throughout the PNW and well down into California. They are licensed on 454.5375, the only one I checked for.

Ben,

TG 195 is a towing company, AAA related.
RID 4034 is TRK 59 (truck 59)
RID 4039 is TRK 62 (truck 62)

I think R80-16 is the Cinder Butte site outside of Sisters.
I also get R80-20, which I've heard First Student Buses on TGID 145.

I submitted the Nike NXDN system a little while ago.

Here's some other stuff I'm working on:

University of Oregon NXDN 48 (RAN 1):
453.0750
453.1750
453.3750
453.6375
453.8750
453.9500 Control Channel

TG 5 - Electrical?
TG 110 - PE & Rec?
TG 113 - Safe Ride Vans (haven't heard their TG on LTR in a while)

UO may be replacing their LTR system. LTR is still up and running but all the LTR freqs are also licensed for NXDN. I haven't heard any NXDN traffic on them yet.

Oregon State Hospital Junction City Campus NXDN 48 (RAN 1)
462.1750 Control Channel
463.2125
463.3375
463.9125
464.9375
TG 2 Ops
TG 3 Security?
There are 4 more freqs licensed for this system that haven't shown up yet. I've only got a few hits on this so I'm waiting to hear more traffic before I submit it. Its a low power system.

Consumer's Power has a 2 site NXDN trunked system.
152.8925 Mary's Peak control channel
152.3225 Peterson Butte control channel
I haven't detected any voice channels or TGs yet while traveling through the area.

Lane Electric:
Lane Electric uses NXDN. I've gotten a few hits from status bursts every minute or so but no traffic on my TRX-1 yet. I got what sounded like NXDN while listening on my 536HP in analog mode in the past.

Emerald PUD:
No traffic on my TRX-1 yet. I got what sounded like NXDN while listening on my 536HP in analog mode in the past.

These license holders include NXDN as a possible emission but I haven't gotten NXDN traffic yet:

Canby Utility Board (CUB) - Clackamas County
Oregon State Hospital Salem - Marion County
Western Oregon University - Polk County
NW Christian University - Lane County (Licensed for DMR & NXDN)
Springfield Utility Board (SUB) - Lane County
Crook County Road Department

Cool! Can you sweep the 454 band in your area?

Here's a few sites I skimmed from DSD+, some are neighbors to the couple of sites I can get here in Central Oregon.

RAN80-2, "Silke Fleetnet CC-101"
RAN80-6, "Silke Fleetnet CC-61"
RAN80-7, "Silke Fleetnet CC-149"
RAN80-8, "Silke Fleetnet CC-145"
RAN80-12, "Silke Fleetnet CC-693"
RAN80-16, "Silke Fleetnet CC-131" 454.53750 (strong signal in CO)
RAN80-18, "Silke Fleetnet CC-145"
RAN80-20, "Silke Fleetnet CC-63" 454.11250 (strong signal in CO)
RAN80-21, "Silke Fleetnet CC-61"
RAN80-22, "Silke Fleetnet CC-55"
RAN80-27, "Silke Fleetnet CC-75" 454.18750 (weak but readable in CO)
RAN80-30, "Silke Fleetnet CC-78"

Channels I know so far:
053 454.05000
063 454.11250
075 454.18750
093 454.30000
104 454.36875
131 454.53750

I started getting patterns in Freq to Channel alignment, but it seems to break up at various points.
