I was in Lake County over Memorial Day and I was hearing law traffic on 158.7675 repeater with 97.4 PL. Its not in the DB but apparently its Harney County Sheriff's Glass Butte repeater located in NE Lake County.

Looking at the FCC licenses for Harney County there are a lot of frequencies for "Harney District Law Enforcement" and "Harney District EMS" that aren't in the DB. If you are going to be the Burns / Harney County area I would program all the licensed freqs into the radio so as not to miss a lot of traffic.

Factoid, there are something like 22 fire Rangeland protection Associations in Oregon. Among the largest is Douglas DFPA out of Roseburg, Coos FPA (Coos and Curry County), and Walker Rangeland Association in Central Oregon. They each have their own radio communcations callout and response system.. but also have common freqs for communications with local state and BLM fire resources. Most are not a special tax district and rely on private funding and federal grants. They have a state or BLM person who oversees the programs and keeps stats, monitors training etc. on each association.
