I was in Lincoln County for the last week and noticed that Lincoln County page has two listings as "LCFD Fire 2" with different frequencies. First one 154.325 I didn't hear anything. The second one 154.400 had lots of traffic. Does anyone know if the 154.325 is an old frequency? Should it be removed or renamed in the database? The license is still active.

On a side note, caught the Army Corps of Engineers "Yaquina" dredge on 166.500

154.325, is a old freq but, my understanding is that it's going to be used as repeater again in Newport area as tac channel. But i haven't gotten any replies back from person i talk to in that area.

Also, Dispatch assigned Fire units to "working highland". I didn't ever hear anything after that. Here is a user submission that was "rejected" in 2014 because the submitter didn't respond to the admin's emails. Can anyone verify if these are still accurate or valid? I have contacted the submitter but he does not know if they're valid anymore or not.

154.3700 141.3 PL should be North Lincoln Fire & Rescue Dispatch in Lincoln City which is separate from Lincoln County Fire Dispatch on 154.430.

I googled around and it looks like Highland estates is a neighborhood in NE Lincoln City.

Did the assignment to work on "Highland" channel come from County Dispatch or North Lincoln dispatch? If it came from County dispatch, maybe it was a mutual aid request for Lincoln City?

As most of you know, three 9-1-1 centers that share the county fire tap out channel. (Toledo, WVCC and Lincoln City 911.)

North Lincoln Fire and Rescue is divided into two battalions, (North and South) so when a call is received, Lincoln City 911 either assigns units to North (Highland) and South (Otter). same frequency, just different TX PL tones. (Lincoln City only dispatches North Lincoln County Fire and Rescue.)

Toeldo 911 also uses the same tap out frequency and has their own fire ops channel. Two TX PL tones, and its either East or West. (They dispatch Toledo PD and Toledo Fire District only.)

WVCC uses the same main countywide tap out dispatch frequency, and assigns the ops channel "County Fire - 2". There is a third county fire channel that is hardly ever used. (Yachats/ Waldport and south into Lane County.) Its calls "Perpetua". WVCC dispatches PWA Ambulance *countywide*, Depoe Bay Fire, Siletz Fire, Newport FD, Seal Rock, Central Oregon Coast Fire (Waldport), Yachats FD and Ambulance. (Also, Newport PD, and Lincoln County Sheriff.)

The above tac channels 1-9 are strictly for TRAINING, CHAT/ ADMIN, ROPE RESCUE, and FIREGROUND use countywide. They are NOT monitored by dispatch.

Yes, I just don't know what their PL tones are. Obviously there is still a lot of data to sort out.

RX 159.4725 TX 159.4725 ENC 156.7 TAC-9 - ** Rope / High Angle Rescue Tactical **

154.3250 Newport Fire uses it on major events. Hardly ever used. I wouldn't delete it from the database yet. Tac 1- 9 are rarely used and only during training, chat, admin, fire tactical on major events. Otherwise, county fire 2 is the primary day to day response. TAC 9 is the rope rescue tactical channel.

155.07000 KRY910 BM 156.7 PL LCSO NpDisp Sheriff / Newport Police Dispatch

This is the old countywide law dispatch and needs to be deleted out of the database.

155.07000 754 DPL Law 1 Sheriff Dispatch that is in the DB is the current one.

Hey KD7JFV, thank you for taking so much time to try to clean up the RR database for the various Oregon counties. I took a trip over to Astoria recently and was able to use your new and updated/corrected information for the trip. Seems there are likely plenty of "old" listings in the DB and only through input of RR users will it ever come close to being fully accurate and up to date (of course many counties are rural and probably rarely visited by anyone that has the time to check usage). Coupled with the ongoing implementation of the OSRP digital system and the new digital systems planned for several northwestern Oregon counties and cities, there will be many more changes to come. Great job and thank you again.
