Cumberland County EMA Director Resigns

Ted Wise, the EMA Director for Cumberland County submitted his resignation, which becomes effective September 19th. It sounds like a power struggle between him and the county commissioners. He wants more dispatchers to handle the call volume (since they also started handling Carlisle's dispatch) and the commissioners want to use the resources they have.

I corresponded with him through e-mail and he was happy to answer my questions regarding aspects of their system. Nice guy.
