How can two different systems have the same CC? I'm excited we found something new out and I look forward to investigating it.
I found no analog control channel when I was up there last week. I have not had time to kill the analog system in the DB...on the to do list.

Considering the amount of traffic that can come just from PSU users, it makes perfect sense to have a site that covers the campus. This would keep all that non-public safety critical traffic (BJC, OPP, etc) from clogging up the other two zones on the system.

I have no idea why PSU PD dispatch does not come over this site...can't address that.

I haven't heard 8, 13, 23, 27 or 29 ever use their company channel so I'm not sure.

3300 units don't exist on the air. They are the numbers reserved for State College PD's vehicles. 3301-33XX are just their car numbers

I noticed a lot of units with matching radio Ida. Guessing portables. Do the car radios have matching and how is fire and end radio ids set up? This system is a lot less complex than ICORRS so maybe it'll be easier to just input a good amount of IDs

If you are listening to police and hear a radio number being called, it is the specific officer being called. Example 3252 is an officer at State College PD and his portable ID's last 4 digits will match.

The breakdown on the unit IDs, I don't have specifically but I know they're grouped by fire, EMS, police and others. The apparatus is being renumbered in July to plain speak (instead of 510, it'll be Engine 5-1. Instead of 1914, it'll be Engine/Rescue 19-1, etc.)

Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll try to assist you. The system is just a single county with a handful of out-of-county apparatus on the system for mutual aid.

I had a submission a few months back that listed the following two talkgroups as PSU Police:

TGs 191 and 198

However, it provided no additional info and the submitter never responded to my request for more info.

So, anyone up that way hear comms on these channels? Know what they are?

I will add them if we can get some more details.

I saw after I posted this that there was another admin who added 191 last year. If anyone knows what the other one is, let us know.
