PFD tac channels have been encrypted for 20 years. Only the North & South dispatch and medic talkgroups are in the clear, all Phase 1.

Click to expand... Yes they are used. They are low power simplex so you have to be close to the scene to hear them. Command will advise on the main fire bands when units are operating on those channels.
