Anyone monitoring the fair...I have last year's crews in but it's dead.....I am 2 miles from grounds...wonder if they went to fr s radios as I don't see fc c license for them...anyone care to guess...Thanks

I have the one but didnt hear much...last nite I heard a blurb or two on vhf high on one of their posted freqs but I suspect its not radio changes there but reception where Im at...they are running low power and you know trees grow higher every year and I'm 2 air miles ne of the grounds and not any higher than they but have an aging antenna...thanks for the reply

Bloomsburg Fair Ops

My wife & I were there on 9/24. The main ops freq used was 462.525 analog with a 151.4 pl. Didn't hear anything on 469.0125. Bloomsburg PD were on 155.55 analog pl 141.3; Columbia Co PD 154.89 pl none. There was a shop lifting of a knife & a purse in the afternoon which made for some really interesting comms. The 2 actors were later caught in the restroom and the stolen goods were recovered.
