Not as good as some of the post I've seen on here, but its a start. I use the 396xt(the guts mounted in a 396t due to me cracking the case) for my feed. The PSR-500 for searching and the Home Patrol for everyday scanning. I have a discone(WBD-40) mounted outside approx. 45 feet high ran with Belden RF400 to a active multicoupler(MCA202M). Hope you all enjoy the pictures. Will post pictures of antenna setup later.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah that oil collection I have there is only a few of them I have around 200 of them(found them at a garage sale paid only 10 dollars). Its a fun hobby only if I could get the wife to enjoy it.

If your into old oil, you may already have seen this:

.. and then there is:

- Bob is the Oil Guy

I wrench on my own vehicles and despise "shadetree" conjecture as to what may or may not be going on with a particular formulation of oil. Beside, old oil cans bring back some good early memories of helping my dad change the oil in our cars.

:D
