Well its been a while since I have posted any pictures, and over the time I have sold and exchanged radios, like always:) Anyways I think I have found the perfect setup for me and the antennas seem to be doing good to. I am running a Kenwood TS-480SAT for HF and shortwave receiving with a Chameleon V1+Mil Whip and a MFJ G5RV. I am running a Kenwood TM-281A for 2 meter operation with a Diamond NR770HNMO hanging in my attic. Then I have a Bearcat 796D for listening to Kentucky State Police post #16 and Indiana Safe-t network. A Motorola HT1250 for my fire department and lastly I have two Radio Shack Pro 2036 scanners. One is monitoring the Aircraft band and the other is monitoring local police and fire departments. All scanners running off a Radio Shack Discone and a 800Mhz antenna. Thanks for looking I hope you enjoy.

My Chameleon V1+Mil Whip, love this antenna. Also the little antenna next to it is my feed antenna for Flight Radar 24.

Like the pen holder. What is that, a 2 1/2IPT to 2 1/2 NST and a 2 1/2 NST to 1 1/2 NST? I'll have to dig around the shop and make myself one, great idea.

Very nice set up. I have to ask though, does your wide screen monitor generate noise into your 2 meter rigs. If so how did you overcome it. I put chokes on mine and does no good.

I have never noticed any issues with noise from the monitor.

Yes it is! It was fittings we never used at work so I asked if I could have them. So I made my pin holder, works just fine for a firefighter!

Clean, sensible, non-overkill shack on handsome wood to boot. Nice antenna system not hard on the eyes. Nice going! Now post the HF antennas over in my thread as well and include your ground situation for educational purposes:)

Do you have the hybrid hf hookup for that mil whip that will give you 80-10metres? Also, how tall is it? Thanks for sharing a beautiful shack with us bt.

Nice setup!! Cables hidden, even the white coax for the weather radio that matches the wall color.

The Chameleon Antenna are pretty much fantastic! They're neat, extremely well made (100% USA made) and great performer! I just got a EMCOMM II for my brother from here:

I always wanted to build a manpack and I think that I'm going to use one of their Chameleon HYBRID and MIL whip combo to do so. Several people are using them to build manpack. Like these guys built those crazy manpack systems:

They also have few YouTube videos a bottom of the following page:

I'll get my stuff and post the picture of my manpack in the following months!
