What a great hobby!!!!!!

I can’t think of a better way to spend my free time, just cruising the bands looking for interesting transmissions, trying new modes and meeting new people all over the world that I would otherwise never meet face to face.

A perfect hobby for a hermit/home body like me

Very nice! Is that a Pro-2021 on top of the 746? It all looks very compact and professional - love the boom mics!, One of those happens to be on my GitList :)

Good job!

Thank you..

Yes, it is a Pro-2021 that I picked up at the last swap meet for $10. Couldn't pass it up for that price

The desk might be humble, but you invested where it matters, in good gear. A big fancy desk doesn't receive any better! I like it, compact and efficient!

Yes, Pro-2021s are very good conventional scanners. I had one for years and it served me well. I bought a Pro-2006 and hot-rodded it and I really don't think it performs that much better than the 2021 that I had! Great scanner, sensitivity is awesome on those radios

Nothing to be ashamed of there. That looks like a fine setup. As a fellow homebody, I know just what you mean.
