I have that same antenna and it works great. I use it handheld. How do you track the sat if it's mounted on a tripod?

Ah ok. Never thought of trying it that way. How did you mount it to the tilt/pan head?

The boom of the antenna has a threaded hole in it, the same as the bottom of a camera. I just use the screw on the tripod.
