I have been having errors trying to connect with both ScannerCast and RadioFeed. After playing with both, I MUCH prefer RadioFeed's interface but I'm having the same issue with both. When I put in my login information to connect with RadioReference, I get a HTTP 417 error. To be precise, the error with RadioFeed is:

Code:
---------------------------
RadioFeed
---------------------------
Unable To Connect To The Remote Server At http://api.radioreference.com/soap2

System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 417: Expectation failed.

at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)

   at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)

   at RRWebService.RRWsdl.getUserData(authInfo authInfo)

   at GetRRConfigBackgroundThread.BgWorker_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

The error with ScannerCast is not quite as verbose:

Code:
---------------------------
RR Auto Config Error (302)
---------------------------
Radio Reference Feed Auto-Config Error:

Error accessing RR
The request failed with HTTP status 417: Expectation failed.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Any ideas for correcting this?

You have no feeds under the user name BigRon.

You do have a new feed that I approved under the user name bigRoN18 as follows:
Roseville Police and Fire

Basic RadioFeed Stereo Set Up:
Under Server Type, select RadioReference.
Press on RadioReference Auto Configure.
Log into RR (Enter your RR user name & pass).
Press Connect.
Select your feed to broadcast under Description.
Press Set.
Select the correct sound card.
Select mono. The correct bit rate & sampling rate are preset.
Under the Options Tab, select these boxes: Are you Sure, Start up, Check for newer versions. Others are you like.
Under Source Select Tab, Press connect. You should now be broadcasting.

I was entering the bigRoN18 username and password. I realize that my login is different for the forums as it is for the rest of RadioReference, but I was using the correct one. Within RadioFeed, I have it set for mono, Samples Per Second is 22050 and bitrate is 16.

When you log in, do you see your feed listed: Roseville Police and Fire
from the drop down menu?

Have you tried other ports:
Try these alt router ports in your streaming software: 80, 8000, 8080, or 8500.
Try port forwarding on your router to allow you're feed through.

Best is to Submit a "Feed Help Request" from the help tab in your feed page so we can help you better.
