BC355N Completely Locked up.

Greetings. I have had a BC355N for just over 18 months. Went to adjust my search settings and its just locked up. It' scanning my private bank and working, but there is absolutely no response from any keys on the unit. I saw a factory reset option of holding down L/O and PROG at the same time as you power up but nothing. I've powered down and up, unplugged it, tested the antenna, everything. It's like there's hidden manual keylock button hiding somewhere, but there isn't. Ideas??

It would appear that this is not a normal problem judging back the absence of responses. I've sent the question to Uniden support but no response from them either.

Is the program lock feature turned on? Does "prg-loc" ever show on the screen when you push any buttons?

Hold down the prog key for longer than 2.5 seconds to unlock.
