Do you use an internet security product that blocks smtp on programs by default?

Yes I’m running a primary and secondary VM with 6 instances of TTD and 6 VFO’s using an RTL SDR on each server. The primary and backup TTD instances communicate via an FTP server setup on my DNS-320L NAS drive.

1] I have 17 channels on pushbullet and have not had an issue.

2] It's pretty convoluted on getting the group key IMO. Getting the app_token is pretty straightforward. I'd like to see if you can get it working as I had an issue with it keep giving me an SSL error.

Mine shows the error, channel tag does not exist. One day a particular station will work fine and the next day or even next dispatch (its random) it won’t. Have you seen this happen? Any idea why it would do that?

I have successfully tried them both and have settled on pushover as my preferred app. The number of departments that you are serving shouldn’t make a difference.

I found pushover to be a little more intuitive (neither is particularly easy to set up) and to have a much better set of features. (With pushover, you can even set a high priority alert that will repeat until the subscriber acknowledges it.)

Right now, I am testing Andy’s TTD installer for the pi. It is sending pushovers fine but I am getting an error on pushbullet that i am trying to figure out.

I don’t understand. One day it will work and the next it won’t. I thought maybe pushover May work better. Is it a lot harder to set up? Any idea why this is happening with pushbullet?

Did you make your channel with a #? If so, you have to put the # as the channel. I created mine without the tag.

No. Should I be putting the channel names and not the tag? It works with the tags but randomly won’t work. When I tried channel name at first, it didn’t work at all. Should I create a channel without a tag and put channel name?

Can you post the logfile entry showing where a tone set was decoded but failed to send to pushbullet?

Are you getting indication in the TTD window that PB is sending?

Are you sure that the issue is with TTD and not with your phone? When I set pushbullet up, i got nothing on the phone until after I had power cycled it.

Try power cycling your phone if you haven’t already.

I have had zero problems with Pushover. Neither is easy to set up.

I have about 50 tone sets going to pushover with at least a couple hundred subscribers. Sending probably 20-30 alerts a day. I have a separate PO app for each tone set and haven’t yet come close to the 7500 monthly limit/app on the free service.

I am sure. And I’m having issues right now with computer but the error is seen in the TTD DOS Script and says, pushbullet No channel found with Channel_tag “blueknob”

I set up TTD to send me pushbullets this morning as well as the usual emails and pushovers. Yes, I can confirm that receiving pushbullets is hit or miss. Occasionally, TTD indicates pushbullet sent but it never gets to my devices.

TTD isn’t sending it. It’s not getting to pushbullet. And that is hit or miss

Look at your console. Is it #blueknob or @blueknob?

Port 465 is usually SSL, and port 587 is usually STARTTLS. Try SSL instead of STARTTLS in your Edit Config menu, restart, and see if that does the trick.

I have the same issue, I have tried port 465 SSL and 587 STARTLS and neither one will work.
