Yes, that's what I was referring to. If all users were operating Phase 2 capable radios.The RR database icon's for the TG's don't show as TDMA.

does anyone have a TDMA capable scanner that is able to pick up the system and actually hear anything or is it all encrypted? I have no experience with TDMA so have no idea if it is even able to be picked up with a scanner

The system isn’t encrypted so far..I have unitrunker and 536 and 436 on it and haven’t seen encrypted talkgroups yet

Yes, I've monitored the new P25 Phase 2 System using my BCD325P2. Mostly heard the KSC Patrol on Talkgroup 751.

I have not been able to monitor any traffic on a TRX-1, although it locks to the CC frequency.

I fixed the TRX-1 by changing the P25 trunking table system type from Standard to Auto-fill.
It decodes audio just fine now.

Yes, the TRX-1 plays a telephone busy signal when receiving an encrypted transmission. It shows an "E" on line 1 of the display instead of "D2" which it shows when receiving a normal Digital Phase 2 signal.

This is happening on the new TG 765 which I have only starting hearing today. The KSC Patrol is still active and clear on TG 751.

All other traffic is still in the clear on the KSC system.

The SpaceX DMR system has always been 100% encrypted.

I was considering getting the TRX-1 or 2 but after reading this I may reconsider it being mostly everything is encrypted. Is there anything that they do pick up that my whistler 1040 or old Pro-96 doesn’t pick up?

I would get a scanner like a BCD325p2 so your not blowing money on something that will be obsolete in a few years. I have a 436 and 536 they are good even on Provoice and DMR

The only to look encrypted is 765..if the rest of the system is open..not going to stop me
