I have a submission saying they are hearing UNM Police/Security with a NAC of 156.


UNM Police operate on the local public safety EDACS and Security is 451.975 DMR. I know what agency using the 156 NAC so I don't know what they are hearing.

And that $156 agency is moving to VHF in most parts of the Country.

IT would be 'suspect' for a Campus PD to be in the Federal Bands

Hearing P25 with NAC 156. Transmissions have been very short and BCD996XT hasn't provided readable audio as yet.

NAC 156 is loud and clear in Los Alamos. Definitely seems like law enforcement. Some transmissions are encrypted.
