I have been attempting to program a Pro 96 and a Pro 2096 using both Arc 96 and now trying Win 96. Trying to install Washington County Md and Jefferson county WV both are P25 trunked and when I use the data from radio reference I get nothing scannable on scanner.

I have used Arc before to program psr 500 and never had any issues. Im new to this and could use any advice.

Do some homework - there's been numerous threads here about making adjustments on both the 96 and 2096 to realign the 800 Mhz performance. Use the SEARCH feature which appears right under the thread title. However neither system is on 800- they're both UHF

For Washington County, there's a custom table you need to put in, according to the database entry...

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=6451

See the Misc System Information section

Looks like Jefferson County (actually you want SIRN) also requires a custom table, and it's explained in the same area of the database

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=4076

There are 2 Jefferson County sites - one in Kearneysville, the other is Mount Weather. You may need a better antenna if you can't hear anything out of these sites

Specific questions on these systems should go to the Maryland and West Virginia forums, respectively.

I don't have these scanners - and they're very old anyway - but you should be good to go with this information...Mike

Thank you I think I got it. I'm sorry I normally search for things but I didn't even know what to search for.

Is there any chance I could get the custom table information for the OKWIN (P25) system for Tulsa, OK?

I have this from a 3rd party, can it be converted into Pro96 language?
