I've been through a cat 1 when Debby went by where I lived at. This storm is big and winds are not here yet.

I have two homes in Hamilton County, I’m hoping it doesn’t turn that away. If it does turn in that direction it will most definitely take out Hamilton County’s dilapidated systems.

ARC popped up on the SARNET repeater system talking of staged vehicles. Seen a few reports from Law Enforcement about escorting FPL utility repair crew convoys (ar15.com). General feeling is that many hundreds/thousands of people underestimated the power of this storm and refused to evacuate. In previous storms, they would go door-to-door telling people if they don't evacuate to please use a Sharpie to write their SSN on the inside of their arms and that of their kid's arms. TT

FYI, I tried calling & texting Bravo but cell service is down so communication is scarce. I’m sure he is ok. If I hear from him I will update the forums. I’m around 60 miles west of him and we were very lucky.

Does anyone know if the public safety systems in the area are down? Also, had anyone heard any traffic on any of the interoperability frequencies; NIFOG, NIRSC, Federal Itinerants, etc? Thanks.
