So what are your favorite frequencies or just your fav type of source to listen to?

I'm into the Local PD Fire and a few wx stations but always looking for more to listen to.

I am strictly a fire listener. Mostly just local. And have all of the depts I pass through commuting to/from work. A couple of “major” cities every now and again.

I'm searching for the Bridgeport / PJ Ferry frequencies now. Seems I'll be on that boat on and off all winter.

I scan a little bit of everything ... depending on the day. I have (2) BCD996p2’s & (1) BCD996t in a rack.

Mostly Fire departments and State Police (CSP al- H, H-BDL, L / MSP -B). Some aircraft from time to time since BDL is in my backyard.

I monitor EVERYTHING!

I like adventure and discovering new things. I monitor everything I can. In my opinion, if all you listen to is PD/FD/EMS stuff, you really limit yourself in this wonderful world of RF that exists here in CT and surrounding areas.. Sure you can have your favorites, but my point is, don't just limit yourself to that. Again, just my opinion.

Ova here
Hey Izzy, whats up bud...Good to see you on here. We certainly seen our share of the scanning hobby ey? Lol....

Doing good my friend!! And yes we have, I still loved the good old days of listening to the 33 & 45 / 46Mhz band and listening to all that skip.

And to put my favorites, its pretty simple.

Pretty much I listen to predominately all the fire departments in the region as well as Long Island. Also to and the marine and ham frequencies are fun listening into.

Like Manny said, can't limit yourself, go out a search those bands!
