Planet Hollywood?

Still trying to find more info, I ran dsd on 451.45 and found several things. First there's NXDN96 system with talkgroups 1/18/31/32 and it sounds hotel comms rooms elevators etc. Then there's also DMR/MTRBO CC=8 Talkgroups 150 sl-1 152 sl-2 Then in CC-12 I see Talkgroup 11 with no audio I assume encryption? The rrdb says it could be Hooters Hotel or PH? Both LTR systems in the database are on my other scanner and they seem dead no traffic.

Some interesting radio traffic on Nellis-Creech TG 12. The TG isnt in the database, it sounds like firefighters in SCBA gear but theyre talking about looking for someone and them possibly working with someone else.

Here's what my database has for 451.450:

451.450/DCS516 – Hotel/Casino R “Front desk says the area is too warm!” Possibly WQGS866 Hooter's Hotel.

451.450 – Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino LTR TRS WPKN235

451.450/DMR CC8 – Cancun Resort ops repeater. WQUM299 Old analog tone was DCS516

I recently found activity on 454.450MHz, which seems to be a high-profile, analog repeater. No CTCSS/DCS, and I'm thinking LTR, either a home channel or single-freq LTR system as I always seem to hear complete conversations on it.

No local licenses found in the FCC database or RRDB, so I've had to resort to the time-intensive. brute-force' method --- listening for clues as to who/where they are. Seems to be a used by Customer Service & housekeeping at a hotel property, as most of the comms are about calling room # to see if they wanted housekeeping, lost & found items, the number of "runners" available (at one time, it was 10, so it's a pretty big resort) & having them fold towels, etc. if not busy running items to guests. Security came on-channel & advised that a certain bathroom needed tending to...

After a couple tortuous hours of listening to mundane, unhelpful traffic, I finally heard a decent clue -- sending someone to a wet-spill "in The Barney's hallway at the CYB." Assuming what I heard as "Barneys" meant the high-end 'Barney's of New York' store, there's apparently just one of them in the LV area -- Grand Canal Shoppes inside Venetian/Palazzo. Per Google, "CYB" are the little kiosks we see at a variety of touristy shopping places -- Fremont St Experience, Grand Bazaar Shops, The Stratosphere, et al. that sell those lighted shirts, hats, ties, etc. https://www.flexmediaus.com/cyb-panels So Barney's (of NY) +CYB +454.450 = Grand Canal Shops, though I don't know why I'd be hearing what sounds like hotel room H/K on the freq too. Grand Canal Shoppes store directory does show there's a kiosk in the same hallway the Barney's of NY is in. To confirm or deny it's them, now it's just a matter of getting very close & listening to the repeater's input freq.

Playing around with the FCC web page, I think I just found them. You won't get any hits on 454.450MHz, but if you do a Clark County NV license search for 454.4375 - 454.5625, there are several licenses to Venetian Resort for what seems to be construction permits for paging use -- WQCX203, 204, 205 & WQHI972 & 974.

KINGFISH(er) ## are visiting helos. For operational comms, they're on UHF SATCOM a lot but can be found if you search the 30-88MHz 'Fox Mike" spectrum while in their vicinity.

I've been hearing this EVOC-type coaching traffic for the past couple weeks during weekday daylight. Strong from home (near Green Valley Ranch Resort) & fair while mobile through out LV area, so spotter/coach is probably using a base radio or handheld from an elevated, spotter position above the track. Always referring to "truck #" & usually commenting about turn speeds & position on the turn bank, but not actual EVOC stuff like skid-pads, J-turns, PIT, etc. & *****ing at poor performers.

154.980 Analog FM no subtone – “I'm standing outside the house now, can you hear me?” good signal at home, 9PM. Possible bootlegger. Only area license is LVMPD KM5459 for mobile use. More frequent traffic seems to be spotter for driving course using trucks. "Truck 7, next time take the curve mid-bank" suggests location is a racetrack with banked turns, like LVMS.
