Purchasing Provoice key

Not sure if this the right section fir this item, but here it goes.

Attempted to finally purchase the Pro-voice Key for my BCD536HP this afternoon. As in the past I purchased a gift credit card to make my purchase.
Twice the order failed to process because there was no "billing address" attached to the card..
Phoned the Uniden contact number and was told they no longer accept 'gift" card because they don't have a fixed address.
When asked when the policy changed, I was told a year ago.
Which comes as a hugh surprise to me, since I used a gift card a month ago to purchase the DMR update for my BCD325P2.
Has anyone else run into this situation? Where you able to resolve it?

So why not just use a regular credit card?

I had the same issue with one of my MasterCards. I used a different MasterCard and it worked no issue.

I bought one in about two years ago and it works great.

You can usually go online or make a call to the gift cards issuing bank and register an address to the card to solve this. Uniden is not the only company that requires an address be associated with a gift card for online purchases.

tried again today, went thru no problem. go figure.
