852.45 is the control frequency for the Peoria Starcom multisite system that was already running. The control frequency for the newly migrated Peoria ETSB to Starcom multisite system is currently 857.9625. All of the frequencies that Peoria ETSB were using are still being used. They are just renaming the LCNs.

851.1250
851.7125
852.2000
852.6750
852.7875
853.2375
853.6000
854.4375
854.6875
854.9875
855.4875
855.7375
857.9625

852.6750 is not one of the twelve frequencies being used by new STARCOM Site 49.
On Monday, there were three public safety simulcast P25 systems running covering Peoria County, the ETSB Harris system, STARCOM Site 37, and STARCOM Site 49.
The ETSB Harris P25ip system was turned off yesterday at 14:45.
Today there are two systems running, Starcom Sites 37 and 49. Eventually, probably sometime in the first quarter, the existing users of STARCOM Site 37 will be migrated to Site 49. Then Site 37 will be shut off and removed.

What was wrong with the site 37? I can pick it up fine...... The new site is hit or miss from my location at home. We'll see how it is when I'm mobile when I travel that way. Site 37 was perfect when I was around Peoria. Hopefully 49 will remain the same.

I know that no one here is responsible for the change. I just had high hopes that I would be able to once again hear the Peoria area. The original STARCOM Simulcast site for Peoria County worked flawlessly.

Site 37 had simulcast distortion too, just not as bad as the Peoria system. But site 37 had 6 transmitters, vs 11 for the old Harris/new SC21. Please do not blame a systems design for poor scanner performance. Until recently most legacy scanners were not designed to handle simulcast. If you have trouble decoding you'll need a Unication pager or new Uniden SDS model (if a hardware scanner is what you desire)

Thanks to jonathany1 and a call to Scanner Master Im back in bussiness. I was not adding the old Harris channels because I thought I didnt need them since that was the former system.
I bought my Uniden SDS100 from Scanner Master.
What units are you guys using that work well on this system as well ?
