I down loaded this to take a look at new settings for the SDS200... looks interesting. Right off the bat, you can now set a percentage for the 3 dimmer levels for the screen. Back to looking...

The newer version of sentinel , is there any difference between the version that GTR8000 posted sentinel version 2_01_00.zip and the one that phyberoptics posted sentinel version 2_00_10.zip ? I just noticed that the numbering of the version is different .

Got it all downloaded and ready to go. I love it that programming is simplified between the 536hp, sds100, and sds200 via the Sentinel programming software. Just target each individual radio with whatever changes you make in their profile and upload it and - poof - there you have it. It's so hard for me to believe that just a couple few years ago I was dumbfounded and stymied with these protocols and how to understand them and now I have not only grasped the technology and terminology, but enjoy it and the fact that I truly understand how it works and appreciate the dynamic engineering that is involved. It is still challenging at times, but that's the meat and potatoes of this hobby, keeping up with the technology. I love it man!

Thank you, Paul, and Uniden, for putting the pep in my step and making our hobby what it is! Y'all are the best, and I'll stand on the counter in my nearest Radio Shack in my cowboy boots and say as much!

Downloaded and installed on a couple of laptops running Win 7 Pro 64-bit and a Win10 (ugh) tower. Installed and updated seamlessly and so far works as advertised. The only thing I lack to see how it works with the SDS200 is... a SDS200. Well, as long as there's PowerBall, there's hope...

As stated in the first post, the newer version of Sentinel (2.1.00) has support for the SDS200.... the older version does not.

I am guessing that there will be very little difference between the 100 and 200, other than hopefully a bigger power supply and louder speaker. My guess is the software in each is basically identical.

Good point. I tend to overlook new features I probably won't use, but to some I recognize this is a very significant new feature, and probably an improvement to the wifi type connection of the 536.

Does anyone know where I can download this? I had on my computer and then the thing crashed and went back to download it again and I don't have permission.
