Is there any work around, when you update scanner from computer that the lockouts will remain, that you did on scanner?

Most programming software will keep them locked out if you download them, then update what you want on the computer, then re-upload to the scanner.

Temporary lockouts are just temporary and will not be kept but permant lockouts can be kept if it works the same way as in Unidens x36 scanners.
Read the scanner but save the result under a new name and then delete them. The lockouts will be saved and will be rewritten to the scanner when you program it again.
