Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst

Has anyone monitored Joint Base lately? Seems to be silent on all my scanners. Tried DSDplus…….getting control freq signal however Site is reading 57C NAC 571, but still no voice on DSD. Freq on DSD are correct.
RR data base stating Site 56F. Picking up TG's on DSD however they do not match ones on RR.
Anyone shed any light?

They are apparently moving to new talkgroups. After seeing your post I started monitoring the base system and didn't hear anything either from Pemberton Borough. I am now hearing Air Terminal operations traffic on talkgroup 5012 this traffic use to be on talkgroup 24. Try setting the system to ID Search mode or using a discovery mode.

I also ran an analysis of the system and came up with the following:

System Type: 25 Standard (They are on a Motorola P25 System)
System ID: 0057ch (was previously 56F)
Site ID: 0074 (Not sure which of the base tower sites this is)
WACN: BEE00h (Was BEE00)
NAC: 571h

Signal: S: no signal Q: Very Strong A: Low Signal

I am monitoring with a BCD436HP and will keep trunk discovery running overnight to see what else I can figure out.

You're welcome. As GTR8000 pointed out this system is being integrated into the Air Force Wide-Area P25 System.

Setup scanner with wildcard...…...now recording new talkgroups. Will let run thru the day for a summary.

With the move to an area wide system, expect full time encryption to occur, ala Dover AFB.

Unfortunately I am expecting it too! They're currently in the clear on most talkgroups. When I get some time I'll post the new talkgroups that I found on this thread and submit them and site info to the database under the Wide-Area System.

Some such as Fire Dept. And Security Forces are self explanatory. Others are by listening and having knowledge of the base and who is on the base and who does what functions. Please post your loggings here and everyone can team up and figure them out.
