I broadcast a feed of my local NOAA weather station. During the RWT, the radio displays Advisory, plays an alert tone for 5 minutes, then shuts off completely, beeping every 5 seconds. This is obviously not good for the stream. Any suggestions on how to disable this and just continue to play the audio (basically completely disable the SAME decoding)? I tried setting an out-of-area FIPS code, but that did not help.

I have the manual, however there doesn't appear to be an option to actually disable the alert functionality if it's already tuned to the frequency.

Take the audio from a scanlist with that specific frequency programmed into it instead of using the audio from the WX button. Delete FIPS codes and turn off SAME Standby.
