Hi,

I'm looking to track down a relatively recent list of IMSA team frequencies, including PL/DPL tones as well if possible. Can anyone help out?
Thanks, Jim.

Does your radio do close call or something of that sort? By the end of first practice session I had over half the teams logged. Granted I was on the hill overlooking the paddock.

Others to try are:

157.7000
159.3375
159.5250
159.7375
160.1375
162.4875 & 157.8875
162.6375
163.7625 & 159.1625
163.8000 & 159.2000
163.8250 & 159.2250
163.9750
164.1125 & 159.5125
164.1375
164.1500
164.4875
164.5750 & 159.9750
170.1125
171.6750
172.1875
172.5250

452.3875
456.4875
467.9500 DragonSpeed
467.9750
468.0875 DragonSpeed
468.1750
468.8250
468.8375 Mazda Joest

The VHF frequencies will almost certainly be NXDN9600 Digital, and cover pitcrews plus I expect the 'real' pit-to-car link. The UHF freqiencies will be analogue and a rebroadcast of the pit-to-car link to meet the IMSA regs. Not 100% of the tie up of freqs to teams, but this list likely covers Mazda Joest, DragonSpeed, WRT and Aston Martin AMR.

All of the pit-to-car links must be UHF (450-470Mhz), Analogue only, 12.5khz spacing and repeater/input must not be separated by >5Mhz. So if you close call or search, that's the band to go after. 24hours should give you plenty of time to tie up all the frequencies and the teams !

The SCCA Central Florida Region provides corner workers for both Daytona and Sebring. They have moved to digital (DMR). Here is a list of frequencies licensed to them. Please update if you can confirm.

Thanks patchman - good work. Alternates I have for Black Swan are:
462.2000
467.2000
463.5000
462.3125 Pitcrew
462.9125 Marketing

I think you may have a few dupes in your list above (eg 911 Porsche primary having the normal Corvette #4 channel), so some to collect/confirm.

Anyone able to offer any updates/corrections to the above based on what they heard at the Rolex24?

TIA.

Going to Sebring this year and it will be the first time i'm going to bring a radio to an IMSA race. Is everything just UHF/VHF or is there any digital stuff? Trying to decide if I should just bring a couple beater baofeng UV5R's or something nicer like a TRX1 or SDS100.

The IMSA team comms will be UHF and analogue (there will be some crew comms that are NXDN digital). None of the WEC team comms are Analogue - they're all VHF and NXDN9600 and unencrypted. You'll need a 436/SDS100/TRX1 for that. I can help with frequencies/programming file for the TRX1 if you PM me.
