Any idea on which channels have NYC related COVID-19 traffic?

I definitely like the way things are going. Everything is universal, barely any codes. Very professional and no one stepping on each other.

It’s really a trip to hear accents other then NY on a local system.

Anyone know if there’s an analog conventional channel patched to the Notify TG? I’m hearing mdc1200 on that talkgroup with some transmissions.

Correction on my last post. The dispatcher number who’s been doing a sensational job is “869” As for the MDC, I originally thought they had cross patched EMS CW-2 over the new P25 TGs, turns out it’s just MDC bleeding through from other dispatcher consoles.

He’s going far and beyond for his units, spelling out the streets and a good sense of humor. Reminds me of the FD dispatchers back in day.

Do you know what’s the difference between north and south? North is definitely busier then the other channels.

I've been very impressed with the on-air skills of the dispatchers and the ambulance personnel during this period. All remain calm and professional; people are speaking clearly into their mikes; not at too great a distance with the resulting low audio or too close resulting in overmodulation. They were trained well and are deserving of praise. This currently on FDNY/EMS CW2.

I haven’t heard the NORTH or SOUTH P25 TGs today. It also appears that the note channel is back to normal use.

Couple of notes.
800 units are the FEMA units which are operating on the boro channels.
Extra Conditions cars using all sorts of vehicles.
Bronx is now split into three dispatch areas. EMS Citywide 2 is being used as another Bronx Channel.
Robert units like R155 are Fire units in the Rapid Response Units with 2 CFR FF's

Would you happen to know who the 85 and 89 units are?

Also hearing 84 and 64 units.

Are the fema ambulances still operating as 800s units cause I’m just hearing the two digit standard units on the boro frequencies.

The following list was just sent to me.
The 2-digits heard are probably a shortening of the 3-digits (810L becomes 81L).
Times and coverage areas may change based on call volume.

800A-Q = MN North 1530-0330 EDT
810A-Q = BX South 0800-2000 EDT
820A-Q = BX North 0900-2100 EDT
830A-Q = BX South 1000-2200 EDT
840A-Q = QN West 1100-2300 EDT
850A-Q = BK North 1200-0000 EDT
860A-Q = QN East 1300-0100 EDT
870A-Q = BK Central 1400-0200 EDT
880A-Q = BK Central 1400-0200 EDT
890A-Q = BX North/MN North 1530-0330 EDT

Ah ok, that makes sense. Thanks for passing on the info.

Currently listening to Queens West channel and they’re dispatching 800 units to calls in the Bronx as well.
