I'm pretty sure it's due to Craighead Co. & Jonesboro city having so many (64+) talkgroups, otherwise they'd overload the system. Seems as if that'd be a prime example of users restricted to only a specific tower(s).

Good point. I wasn't even thinking about that aspect.

Got a new tower...
2021/02/15 00:20:24 BEE00.188-2.13 neighbor: Site BEE00.188-2.19; CC=0-255 852.6000
Got another AWIN alert this morning with site G10 HOPE - didn't have a site number as usual

Not in the RR DB - possible new tower??

Looking up licenses in Hempstead Co. I found:

WQBY542 - modified in 8/2019 to add the following frequencies @ Hope:
851.8250
852.1000
852.6000

WQDC588 - modified in 8/2019 to add the following frequencies @ Hope:
857.4625
859.1375

2021/02/15 00:20:24 BEE00.188-2.13 neighbor: Site BEE00.188-2.19; CC=0-255 852.6000

FCC license shows 2501 North Hazel, Hope, Ark, which is Troop G HQ.

I have confirmed it is live by a law enforcement officer currently in Hope. Anyone around Hope that can hit the CC? There was a fella named Mike that was in Hempstead County going through all the frequencies.

Looks like it's Zone 2 / site 19.....correct?

I bet there's more sites online across the state that are still unknown to us.

What software did ya use to catch that??

Maybe I'll tinker with my Raspberry Pi 4 and SDR.....after I do my weekend chores

Yes... 2/19.

DSD+ FL.

DSD+ and an SDR work way better and easier to me.

Use this for SDR driver in Windows ---> Upload files for free - UsbDriverTool.7z - ufile.io

Your catch....knock it out.

Submitted, but would have been hard to track down without your help.

Oddly, the emission is 16K0F9W.

Code:
https://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Emission_Designator#Use_of_F9W_Suffix

A strict interpretation of ITU emissions indicates that the F9W suffix is both analog and digital simultaneously.
The exception to using F9W is Harris OpenSky, which has been certificated by the FCC as F9W, although F7W may be better descriptive.

That would be correct. There are a few Zone 4 sites that are online, but so far, no one has reported them to us so we can enter them into the database. Hopefully, someone will find them and submit these new sites to us.

Excuse my ignorance, but how do you know there are Zone 4 sites if none have been submitted??

In the past we did receive Pro96Com tower information that did show Zone 4 Sites that were, and still are unidentified. These are neighbors to Site 1-62 as follows:

New Site

1-062 unknown location

772.15625d
772.43125a
773.33125

C4FM Phase 1

Neighbors: 127, 429, 430, 432, 433, 434, 435, 436

Any clue as to a possible location for site 62? Troop/county?

I'm working on some frequency lists to try to hunt new sites & verify known sites and update with current info.

Cabot got a new 700 license, as well as Forrest City.

Gotta get my toys set up in my truck to do some SIGINT maybe on my way to/from work. I could hit 6 towers between Searcy & Memphis on 64

Floyd, Oakland, Fair Oaks, Harrisburg, Shell Lake & Marion

If I leave early one day I could run I-40 to check out Forrest City new 700 ,DeValls Bluff & Lonoke

So...I don't remember...did anyone submit the site letter/number combinations to be added to the db at the beginning of the site name (or some sortable column in the db list)?? Or are we still trying to gather info?
