DSD+ 2.296

Added decoding of more LRRP message variants.

Made some changes to per-call recording logic.

By request, added more call start alerting options.

FMPP 1.17

Added support for RSP1.
Enter RSP1 device serial number (0000000001) in first line of FMPP.cfg file.
Use j/J and k/K to adjust RSP1 LNA and IF gains.
If USB connection to an SDRPlay device is lost while FMPP is running,
SDRPlay API Service may stop; exit FMPP, restart SDRPlay API Service, restart FMPP.

Anyone else seeing crashes? I have forwarded my information onto the Dev.

I am seeing crashes on one of my instances monitoring a TIII simoco system, however another of my instances monitoring a TIII Motorola system are working fine.

Are you using a SDRplay device? My RSP1 seems to work great with the new update.

And a big thanks to the authors of DSDPlus Fastlane for updating the FMPP code to natively talk to my RSP1. FMPP worked before, but I had to move the SDRPlay API back to 3.06 to get it working properly.

using the new update 2.296 with FMPP using an RSP1A the LNA gain now only goes to 3 now, it use to go to 8 or 9, I cant even pick up a somewhat local p25 that was has a very high signal????????

FMPP-CC.bat =
FMPP -rc -i1 -o20001 -z0 -wsl0.1530 -v400 -b12.5 -f853.77500

1R.bat =
DSDPlus -r1 -T -E -i20001

FMPP.CFG =
200603**** ; SDRPlay serial number list (****masked out for internet)
3 ; sampling rate (3 Msps)
1024 ; spectrum window width
32 ; FFT size (16k, 32k, 64k)
10 ; spectrum update rate in Hz
5000 -6250 7500 12500 15000 25000 100000 ; step size table; units = Hz; negate default
. ; DSD+ path
.\FreqList.csv ; primary frequency list CSV path\filename
.\My FreqList.csv ; auxiliary frequency list CSV path\filename
miles and bearing ; miles or kilometers
50 ; search distance
37.3915 -76.5624 ; search origin

same goes for my RSPdx when I use its SDRPlay serial number in the .CFG

I have per call recording turned on and often get a message like this,
Rename of per-call temp file 'Record\20210413\~170146_S1.tmp' to 'Record\20210413\170146_453.250000_001_???(BS)__DCC10_Slot1_GC_2349_1.mp3' failed
I tried either mp3 or wav and still get this message. I realized a while ago very few calls would not be recorded so I am assuming it has to do with that error.

make sure you have lame_enc.dll in the dsd folder, I believe it has to do with mp3 recording, other than that im not sure.

I had it in there and just replaced it with the newer base files. I'll get back if the issue persists

Well that's why I and others use FMP24 and NOT FMPP I do have a SDRPLAY PRO thow.
If you are using an RTL tuner then it is required to use FMP24, you word it as though it's a concious decision to use one over the other. The only updates this release were to dsdplus.exe and fmpp.exe (and notes.txt if you're a pedantist) so the updates wouldn't affect your (AND OTHERS) use of FMP24.exe to show your signal strength. Hence your issues are your own.

Now if you used your RSP2Pro and this FMPP update and found a difference in signal strength then we'd have something to discuss.

also while using FMPP why cant I get my FreqLists to work and show up on the spectrum screen.
FMPP no freq csv info.JPG
my freqlist.csv's work fine using an RTL-SDR dongle in FMP24.
but not in FMPP with SDRplay devices.
anyone else have this problem?
think I might just give up on DSD+ FL with the SDRplay's and just use my RTL dongles, seems to run better

I'm glad to see it's still getting updates! I was worried when I noticed the fast lane page seemed a bit dated.
I just purchased fast lane to give it a go at decoding NX9600 (hopefully) with a single RTLSDR (RTL2832U TCXO variant).
I'm eagerly awaiting the email :) Hoping it's as efficient as OP25 as well!

I do wish that the audio quality for dsdplus was just as good as OP25. Can't complain though the program is very useful for pretty much all digital protocol decoding needs
