Feed Delay

Good Morning, I started my new feed yesterday. The first thing I noticed was there is about a 2minute delay from when a call comes in on the scanner to when it gets to the audio feed. I am using the source client on Proscan(I figured it was the same as radiofeed source client), the audio for the source client is set at Mono-22050 sample rate 16kbps bitrate. On my Feed statistics it says the sample rate is 16000, I'm just wondering what could be causing the delay? is it the fact I'm using Proscan and not RadioFeed? Or is this just normal.

This is completely normal.

Feed delays are normal. The feeds are in near real-time, not real-time.

can i put in my Feed Notes that there is a 2 minute delay and its totally normal, also how do i get the feed provider tag, instead of Premium subscriber?

Yes, you can if you like. I have it in mine and others do as well.

You should be able to indicate in the notes that there is a delay. I wouldn't specifically say 2 minutes because the delay can vary a little or a lot. If I keep listening to a feed for 18 hours or so, the delay grows to around five minutes. You could say there is a delay of a couple of minutes or more.
