All over the map.
Nothing of Site 114 heard on the Garden State Parkway between the New York State Line and Exit 135 (Clark, Union County) on the primary or alternate control channels with the 5/8th VHF whip.

Reverified, 118's only peer is 117. And 144 still with no peers at all.

Yes, 385.900 is the West Point Bull Hill site of the 58A system, completely unrelated to this 4F0 system.

I spent some time searching bands. Had some tropo. Light variable then gone. The 406-420 band revealed no control channels 4F0. 406-420 quite compared to VHF packet bursts. Went through 162-173 step by step a few times. No changes. The signals from a distance are respectable. These stations must have decent signal contours.

So is anyone receiving site 102 at all? It started fading in but went out quickly here on Long Island. @w2lie what areas did you check so far in Nassau?

Rids in the 654xxxx and 632xxxx range showed up on site 122 and 117 on tg 32663. A few denials/joins, then 1 voice grant.
From Chris's site
"632xxxx Customs and Border Protection" but I have logged USMS in NY with that range.
"654xxxx Unknown Agency NYC" I do not have anything logged in this range.

Seen tg's on site 122

Unknown site 114 found. Gave me a chance to verify my guess and visit Meatheadz at the same time.

Site 114 located Trenton New Jersey at the Federal Courthouse.

No other changes

I have a CC that looks just like all the others on spectrum display. I have seen this before. Not enough signal to run UT on it yet. Seeing -10db above the floor.

Anyone else NY NJ CT DE hear 170.150 CC?

170.150 is one of the STARNet sites in PA (Lehigh County). That frequency is not federal.

The Freq is both FCC and NTIA - many Federal users across our great nation

Operation on frequencies 166.25 MHz and 170.15 MHz is subject to
the condition that harmful interference shall not be caused to present
or future Government stations in the band 162-174 MHz and is also
subject to the bandwidth and tolerance limitations and compliance
deadlines listed in § 74.462 of this part. Authorization on these
frequencies shall be in the lower 48 contiguous States only, except
within the area bounded on the west by the Mississippi River, on the
north by the parallel of latitude 37DEG30' N., and on the east and
south by that arc of the circle with center at Springfield, Illinois,
and radius equal to the airline distance between Springfield, Illinois,
and Montgomery, Alabama, subtended between the foregoing west and north
boundaries, or within 150 miles (241.4 km) of New York City.

@ecps92 yes indeed @GTR8000 post had me look at the rules too. I found this. Not sure if still valid. The following may explain some of packet burning through this band that I see as I look for Sites.

US13--For the specific purpose of transmitting hydrological and meteorological data in cooperation with agencies of the Federal Government, the following frequencies may be authorized to non-Government fixed stations on the condition that harmful interference will not be caused to Government stations:
MHz MHz MHz MHz
169.425 170.275 171.125 406.175
169.450 170.300 171.825 409.675
169.475 170.325 171.850 409.725
169.500 171.025 171.875 412.625
169.525 171.050 171.900 412.675
170.225 171.075 171.925 412.725
170.250 171.100 406.125 412.775

going off topic, but
Yup, many of those are iFlows and shared with other agencies
ie: 169.4500 is for telemetry, but is also a well known CBP channel in some areas as well

In a very quick glance I noted that 171.0500 is on the list. That is a very common frequency used by the National Park Service and likely some other Department of the Interior agencies as well. 169.5000 a d 171.9000 ring a bell too, I think I may have seen them on an incident comm plan. I may have used 169.5000 as a tactical on a large fire once.
