Don Edwards' radio spirit lives on in the Icom R-8500 I bought from him years ago. Still have some of his frequencies both VHF/UHF and HF (along with his alpha tags) in the radio. Ah the good olde days.

Terry
Indeed Terry! He gave me an AOR 8000 years ago so I could monitor MUX frequencies!! Gave!! I still have that radio! A couple years later i bought a Uniden 9000XLT from him because it had the CTCSS card in it. I still use that for Milair! Another great friend and great guy as we go down memory lane!

1015- Have Gunny flt (2 X F-16s 121st FS DC ANG) working on discrete (285.225). Gunny 1 is showing Gunny 2 around the PAX area, places for safe ejection if need be & afld for forcing down TOIs when acting as Brave flt.

1025- Have couple of KC-135Rs from 108th ARW working on discrete (268.025). ADS-B showing them maybe heading out to AR777.

Trident84 (P8) doing their usual sightseeing tour of Niagara Falls today. RTB to Jacksonville now.
Seems both Countries like to check out the Falls.. Was up there on a Saturday a couple years ago and
Canadian C-130 rescue type kept circling Falls area at about 5k on both sides of the border but mostly Canada side.
Was curious who controls that airspace.. Toronto or Buffalo or both?

Buffalo handles the co ordination for it. It is restricted air space and there are altitude rules and a unicom freq. that everyone announces entering and exiting the pattern.

Thanks.. Yeah just watched a Canada Kodiak-100 do a couple clockwise laps at 3200 feet and 125 knots
before rtb. I had cousin back in the 70,s do a illegal white water raft excursion up North near Whirlpool and wound up
stranded on Canada side.. RCMP picked/rescued them up,fined them and sent back across the Border :)

1755 local See a T-38? callsign BOGEY-55 (AE61C2) come Northeast from Northern Alabama looks inbound Pax River.
Started off near Ft Worth Texas previous callsign VILLN07 last week,

Yeah MacDill gave up their two nice GLF5's to Hawaii and Europe.. Like they had a choice..
#01-0028 SPAR-28 doing routes between US and Japan,Guam now with occasional Hawaii callsign MANGO-28 :)
Centcom Brass can do regular short flights to Andrews on any type and catch LD from there.
I just spotted Mango28 nearby on ADSB and wondered what it was since it showed as military. The photo from PlaneSpotters looks like a mini AF1 (sort of). Thanks for posting. I guess the passengers would top brass but not White House level.

Wilmington weekend for POTUS, based on time, probably no Friday CAP.

8:45 PM THE PRESIDENT departs the White House en route Wilmington, Delaware
South Lawn
9:40 PM THE PRESIDENT arrives in Wilmington, Delaware
Delaware Air National Guard Base
Potus being nice with later arrival avoiding rush hour.. Lots of complaints when he arrives on Fridays around dinner time
as they close I-95 etc.. Rush hour and beach goers should be mostly done now at 9:30pm
Also no Friday evening CAP as well like you say..

Charleston AFB Space A shows flight to Port au Prince Haiti early Friday morning around 7:30am.. Don't see that often.

2 KC135r's (Bison41 & Bison 43) out of Niagara Falls in AR-609 waiting for somebody. I also see a DC-10 and 135 up over Maine/Vermont. Looks like someone is coming back from across the pond maybe?
BLUE93/86-0035 crossing to drag back the 2nd cell SC`ANG F16s who are still at Souda Bay, ALTRV up for the 25th w/b, maybe the one you saw.
