So with the new system and going full DE unless you enjoy fire, EMS and public works there is not much to listen to anymore. I am I missing something? Is my 436HP a boat anchor now? lol
LIFE EMS has switched to using only MDT's for radio traffic they rarely use radios.

I've noticed on several occasions that talkgroup 23336 always has Kent County RIDs on it, down here in the Metro Detroit area. Right now, RID 10415600 is on the Washtenaw County Simulcast cell. Could this be talkgroup 41STATW?

Heard GRFD station alerting test pages today. Also, Kent County fire paging expected to be online before end of the year.

A lot of talk on 13501 the last several days. Kent County radio id's and sounds like snowplowing in Rockford. Can anyone confirm?

13501 *might* be a countywide Road Commission thing or whatever but I cant confirm this. Is 13501 in the database?

I cant even get half the comms because theyre all garbled on my 106 scanner.

Im kinda surprised that the 900 MHz FLEX transmitters have been completely deteriorated over the years and never fixed since 2019.
a LOT of stuff, especially what comes out of these police/fire/ems calls show up but are never decodable because the transmitter is destroyed. They used to be 60+ dB in strength (929.9375 and 931.5875). And the tower responsible was actually located down the road from me at the Dump near Rockford/Algoma according to a license I found on FCC ALS.
That tower still has its antennas attached and doesnt use a red light at night anymore. Im not even sure if its still being used or not.

I've listened to several recordings of 13501 comms the last 2 days and jotting down streets and other things. Some of the streets I've identified appear to be in the city of Rockford. They've also mentioned several lots near businesses, the water plant, and the White Pine Trail lot off 12 mile(which appears to be in the city. I've also heard various truck numbers from 4 to 13 and it sounds like many are 4 x 4's. They also mention a "big truck".

I thought it might be but it just doesn't sound like like the Road Commission I've heard on 156.135. Much of the chatter is guys asking each other where they are and the talk of places like "The Wolverine Lot' and "The Lot Behind Young Insurance" doesn't sound like the Road Commission. Why does it seem like it's all around Rockford? I haven't listened to 156.135 for a long time, is it still being used? No 13501 is not in the DB, that is why I'm trying to figure out who it is.

Talkgroup 3514 is listed in RRDB as 41LIFE DISP. The description is Kent County Dispatch. I had several 3514 hits today on the log and all radio id's are either N/A or for Ionia County (34). 13491 is in RRDB as Ionia County Dispatch (34LIFE DISP). Any ideas as to what is really what?

3514 (41LIFE) is LifeEMS for the GR area. They are probably in the process of transitioning from their UHF system. But the addresses for the calls are for sure in Kent County.
